About Sarah and Nabil
Sarah and Nabil had a beautiful, colorful, and intimate Mehndi. This Pakistani-American Mehndi was so much fun with this great couple. Sarah and Nabil first met while working for Center for Global Development (a non-profit think tank focused on reducing global poverty). When I think of Nabil and Sarah, they’re a couple that’s committed to leaving a small footprint and a big impact on this world. This same compassion could very easily be seen in Nabil’s family. Especially, during their mehndi through their kind eyes and interactions with one another.
The Mendhi
The mehndi was set up at one of Nabil’s aunt’s homes in Chantilly, Virginia. Rose, Nabil’s brother’s fiancé (who’s wedding I’ll be photographing next year in Los Angeles, whoop whoop!) did Sarah’s make up. They had set up a tent and had several family dance performances. They both had a very laid back approach. You can feel that vibe when you look through their photos. Their Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City Nikkah will be coming up soon!
