I met Sabreet and Arun over the summer in Fells Point for their Baltimore engagement shoot. We met in early morning to avoid crowds and to use beautiful sunrise light. Both Sabreet and Arun are pretty laid back people and we had a good time. Sabreet and Arun truly bought into the vision (fun, natural, timeless) and allowed themselves to feel comfortable which led to beautiful images. I loved how the colors they wore matched the Baltimore sky at sunrise. The bride-to-be is sporting an aqua and pink sari and the groom-to-be matching with a pink tie and a aqua shirt.
Sabreet is Punjabi and Sikh while Arun is South Indian and Hindu. They’re both from the Baltimore area and so having their engagement shoot in Baltimore only made sense. They first met over 12 years ago and eventually they came to the realization that they were meant for each other.
To propose, Arun gathered his and Sabreet’s closest friends and family to assist with his proposal. He handed everyone a photograph, each one a significant memory in their relationship. As she made her way through the stations, she was handed a photograph and read the associated caption. Once she made her way to Arun, he got down on one knee and she obviously said yes :-).
